It looks like a trap...possibly a sting operation looking for Senators.
That was my first thought, too!Maybe, like in a Roadrunner cartoon, they open the door and step through, only to drop off a cliff.
So what happened when you stepped through the door, Andrew?Andrew?Andrew?
It reminded me of the far side cartoon where the dog was trying to lure cats with a "hand" written sign saying "cat fud" or some such
I remember that one!
