Hellboy II

I remember enjoying the first installment of Hellboy. Good action, some memorable lines and Selma Blair. I was pleasantly surprised to see there's a coming sequel. Should be an ideal date-night movie for you married blokes. Chicks dig comic book movies.

I remember it being stylistically awesome, but otherwise so so. Like most of the other comic-book movies. Like most comic books, actually. Cue slings and arrows from Jay and Dave.

That said, a good movie to do a sequel to. And my wife likes the comic book stuff a lot more than I do. She has a pretty good collection and sees all the movies. I think she even sat through the last Fantastic Four.

I would like to see an Arkham Asylum adaption, personally.

Damn, if I had a wife like that, I'd marry her.

Arkham Asylum sounds familiar, from The Sandman?

That would be Batman, and a damned fine graphic novel it is.

I liked Hellboy a lot, but agree that most comic book movies are somewhat lacking. (Lots of good one liners in HB, and how can you go wrong with Guillermo del Toro?)
