According to the (semi) reputable source Wikipedia, Captain Klutz is a comic strip character created by Don Martin ... The character originally saw print in a series of original paperback books done for the MAD paperback line, not the magazine.

Two of the many things I love about Don Martin are (were) the way he drew hands and feet, and the great sounds he onomatopoeiasized. Geeen!
