Your Monday Morning Comic Book Geek Update

Here's the first look at Hulk 2.0, featured prominently in The Incredible Hulk, coming out next June. It stars Edward Norton as Bruce Banner and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross; not to mention Tim Roth as the Abomination. Looks to be much better than the Ang Lee misfire a few years ago.

And although there's not much in the way of content yet, Iron Man now has an official site, as does Watchmen.

I sure wish they hadn't cocked the Hulk up with the other movie. Are they 'starting over' or is this a continuation of the first one with new stars?

It's a reboot, much like the last James Bond flick. They're pretending the first one never happened ...

Are they CGI'ing the angry green one or bringing back Lou F.? I'm starting to think anything with Ed Norton is worth seeing.

CGI, daddy-o!

What I like is that he looks like the classic 70's, John Romita, Sr. version of the Hulk.

Yeah, less of the Frankenstein forehead, more hair. Do you remember that sad piano solo at the end of the TV show every week? I'd love to hear that again.

I saw a little interview with Downey, Jr. last night regarding Iron Man. Damn he looks exactly like Tony Stark. I don't think anyone could have played him, now that I've seen Downey with the goatee, etc. Gwenyth Paltrow, the pretentious idiot, said she was glad to be in a film that people might actually see.

Iron Man will rock.
