"Look! Up in the sky!"

It's got to be one of the key catch phrases in the history of western civilization, but it actually makes no sense whatsoever. Why would anyone who thought they saw a bird or a plane point up in the air and start yelling? I'm guessing that phrase originated on radio or tv and not the comics. And by the way, in what sense was the S. man of tv a "strange visitor from another planet?" Who? George Reeves? Looking for all the world like a CPA in tights? Now maybe if they could've found someone with big coif and a Speedy Gonzalez smile.. or (much) better yet, someone like this Supergirl. Strange in the right way, wouldn't you agree?

Maybe the part about the tights made him a strange visitor.

Who is that Supergirl? My French isn't so good ...
