To Lafayette, Louisiana. For work, sadly, but I managed to take in a couple of hours of the acadian music festival going on over the weekend. Also had some damn fine boudin from both Guidroz and Comeaux's (which operates out of a defunct Exxon station). Guidroz also offers the best home made pork scratchings this side of downtown Lafayette. Highly recommended for next year's reunion.

I never made it to that festival as it always coincided with JazzFest. Definitely on my to do list.
Speaking of traveling, where will BastardFest be this year?

BastardFEst is looking tough right now. I've got every weekend in May tied up with graduation, prom and Caroline's family's visit. Early June I'm off to Asheville to record an album and then we're Spokane and New York bound. We may looking at the fall for the fest fellas.
I love how casually you drop in "record an album" among trips and proms!
I'd be hard pressed to do anything before Fall, too.
What are you a teacher or something, Dave? So do you have a date to the prom, or are you going to take your Mom like Jay did?
