Them nordic folk may talk in gibberish, but they're smart enough to sing in the language of rock and roll (whether or not they're playing it).

The Nordic folk are the unparalleled masters of pop music. Exhibit A: ABBA. I LOVE them!
Exhibit B: Shocking Blue. Who is that Dave? Oh the band that had the ubiquitous hit 'Venus'? Yes them, but go to your itunes or whoever and check out, 'Never Marry a Railroad Man', 'Hot Sand', or 'Send me a Postcard'. This shit is awesome!
Exhibit C: Max Martin. Who is that Dave? Just the genius that wrote the seminal Britney Spears singles, not to mention a couple of pop nuggets for the Backstreeters, nSync, and all those folk.
Exhibit D: Ace of Base. 'Cruel Summer'? 'The Sign'? Where does this shit come from!
Exhibit E: Other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Exhibit F: Roxette. Remember the #1 hit The Look? And the lead male vocalist for Roxette? Per Gessle, seen in this video with his new band Son of a Plumber (which he actually is).
