Game On!

Fox and WB reach a settlement. Watchmen is a go!

Here's the official statement from both studios:
Warner Bros. and Twentieth Century Fox have resolved their dispute regarding the rights to the upcoming motion picture Watchmen in a confidential settlement. Warner Bros acknowledges that Fox acted in good faith in bringing its claims, which were asserted prior to the start of principal photography. Fox acknowledges that Warner Bros. acted in good faith in defending against those claims Warner Bros. and Fox, like all Watchmen fans, look forward with great anticipation to this film's March 6 release in theatres.

Cool. The previews look good. I've been on a movie rampage the past few days as I've been holed up in the house. A summary:

In Bruges- Excellent dark comedy with a very nice turn from Colin Ferrell, of all people.

Into the Wild- Beautifully made and very well acted. Can't decided if I actually sympathize with the protagonist very much though.

Pineapple Express- pretty funny as far as pot comedies go, but much more violent than I expected.

The Other Boleyn Girl- dodgy history. Disappointing but nice to look at. Who knew ScarJo could look dowdy?

Zodiac- pretty good as far as true life procedurals go, but in the end leaves you a little unsatisfied as the case had no true resolution.

Slumdog Millionaire is really good.

Downey was so good in Zodiac though, wasn't he?
