Planet of the Apes left an indelible mark on my childhood. It was the first thing I was truly obsessed with. I still can't resist watching the movies when I come across them on TBS. Not to mention Earthquake and Soylent Green.
What about Omega Man, Deighve? Forget the shitty remake and watch the semi-shitty semi-original ...
I LOVED Planet of the Apes, although the movies got a little silly after the first two. I had the action figures, watched the TV show and even saw the horrific Tim Burton remake. With Joe!
