I was on my way home one day and it was really windy. I was in the middle lane of a 3 lane expressway, and a truck towing a big trailer (like a big rectangular box) was swerving a bit in the wind. I decided to pass him, and right as I hit the gas to go around him, a big gust of wind came up and he overcompensated, and swerved right into my lane. I hit the brakes, and he missed a van on the right by less than a foot. Honestly, the first thing thing that came into my mind was 'Malachi Crunch!'
I had a woman pull out in front of me one time and come to a dead stop as soon as she saw me, too. I didn't have time to stop, so I swerved around her as hard as I could and barely missed her. That one was really scary. I got to the next light and I was shaking.
Why were you just going 70, Jay? That's asking for it in this town. The motorcycle incidents are really scary, especially with the trailer and the wind. You mix those elements properly and somebody's life insurance kicks in.
