More Forgotten Memphis Music

"Up In A Tree" - Nail

Best left forgotten ...

Going way back to 1993, Nail was a pre-Subteens, pre-good band that Kram and I played in during the golden age of grunge. (I met Joe and Dave around this time, too.) I was explaining to the wife that listening to this stuff now is kinda like looking at my old artwork from grade school. Enjoy or don't. This song makes me cringe the least of the four or five that we recorded at Easley.

I remember when this was recorded. I was at some of the Easley sessions. I didn't think you were that bad at the time. This, as I recall, was also not one of the better songs you did. I still have a Nail t-shirt somewhere.

I liked Defensive enough that it's the only one I remember. Have you it handy?

I've got to re-transfer one of the tapes. Joe requested "Countin' Down The Days" too, but both of those came over way too hot. I'll try to get 'em posted this weekend.

Man, I'd forgotten about the Nail t-shirt ...
