Do you like to dip things?

I do. And that's why m'lady and I will be dining at the Melting Pot this evening. It's a spendy night out, but I'm trying to revive our nation's economy, even if I have to do it myself. Besides, we have a gift card AND a coupon. Four courses: cheese, salad, entree (lobster, beef, pork, chicken) and dessert (chocolate) plus a little vino makes me very, very happy. Dip on bastards, Dip on.

I've heard good things about this place, should be fun.

This place sounds a bit multi-cultural to me. Are there poetry readings? A drum circle?

There wasn't until I got there.

So do you still smell like Fondue?

Do you have chocolate under your fingernails this morning?

(I just noticed that I do.)

Dave has smelled like fondue and had chocolate-encrusted fingernails since I've known him.

It was excellent. Lobster, shrimp, sirloin, filet, and pork dipped in a fondue of red wine, roasted garlic, and other stuff. The cheese course was a nice quattro formaggio. I think that means 'lots of stinky cheese plus a swiss cheese' in Flemish or something. White and dark chocolate swirled like a yin/yang symbol at the end all topped off by a nice bottle of red zin. Good times.

Dang, that is some freakin' throw-down! It's cool that you got to taste a lot of different things. I hate when dropping a lot of cash on a meal I order the wrong thing, and end up eying someone else's prime rib while kicking myself for ordering Le Spam Tartare.
