I know these guys - they started out as Songs: Ohia, but at some point just changed their name to Magnolia Electric Company. The Son Volt, NY comparison is apt. I saw them in Austin. I've got one of their albums that has a great song called "The Dark Don't Hide It." This song's not on it, but it has a lot of similar atmospheric type stuff. And even some songs with a girl singing, so Andy can like it too. I can Fleece The Panda if anybody wants it.
