My View From The Stage

Good turn-out last night! I had more fun than should be legally allowed, and I got to talk to people that I haven't seen in years.

Kram's roommate recorded it all live to two track, and I'm working on obtaining a copy. He played a little for me off his laptop las night, and the sound quality is crystal clear.

Awesome! I can't wait to hear it. Question: how much, if any, of the second album did you write?

Those were mostly Kram's songs, but I was still in the band when most of them were being worked up. I helped with bridges and what-not. Having said that, "Something About You" is my music and chorus. Terrence wrote the verses, I think. "Automatic" is a Verbs cover. I can throw it on the Fake Tit Panacea if you want it.

Subteens trivia: the verse after the key change in "This Is It" is a poke at me for quitting.

Break down, we've all had a break down
Whatever happened, whatever happened to you?
Break down, thrown in the towel, thrown in the towel
Maybe it's time I did, too
Don't tell me that I'm lucky
When the bad times were better than these

That's awesome. Glad you had fun. I figured you would. Hey, is that an actual picture from the show? Is it me or is there a dude with a video camera in the front row there. And if that's your vantage point from the stage, it's clear all the hot chicks are looking elsewhere.

That's pretty funny about the lyrics. Kram can come up with some good shit. I remember that song he wrote in Nail about his girlfriend leaving, "Counting Down the Days," maybe?

That is in fact a picture from the actual show. I figured I'd never be that way again, so I put my camera on my amp and sneaked a picture a couple of times.

And that is a video camera as well, although I'm not sure who was taping or for what purpose.

"Counting Down The Days," holy crap. That was a looong time ago.
