The Saints took Mark Ingram in the first round. What does this mean for Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas? I think the Titans were smart taking Jake Locker in the first.
Every single sports "expert" in town had us taking Auburn DT Nick Fairley, so there you go... I mock your mock draft.
Locker may turn out well. Everyone loves his attitude, he's got some throwing chops and even Sarkisian admits that the Huskies had difficulty showcasing his talents due to their uh, not being any much good.
But as usual, everyone ignores my ingenious strategery: drafting defense for now and tanking the entire season so that we can draft Andrew Luck next year. I call this the Suck for Luck gambit. Watch as every bottom-feeder next December gets accused of losing on purpose.

I don't know about Ingram. It seems that it's fairly easy to get a decent running back - you certainly don't need to blow a first-round pick on it. And with two good runners in the backfield already... you'd think New Orleans might want to bolster up the defense that was blasted for 41 points in that Seattle debacle.
I think the Ingram pick was also about figuring out the 'Bush question'. Reggie stands to make over 11 million this season, which doesn't really match his output. That's a couple of good free agents right there. This should force either a trade or at least a renegotiation of that bloated contract.
Ponder 12th, Tebow 25th. Suck it, Gators. I didn't care for the 'Fins 1st round pick of Pouncey in the 1st; not because he's a Gator, but because I don't think he's that good. I LOVE Ingram in New Orleans (it just feels right, and I hope Cam Newton gets to start next year. Otherwise, I could give a rat's ass. Didn't Obama's birth certificate get married or something?
I'm in Milwaukee next week. Anybody got any suggestions. Those that don't involve beer, sports or music will be ignored.

"I think your friend will find Milwaukee to be a surprisingly cool place, but I recommend sticking near the downtown area and the near-urban neighborhoods. There's lots of suburban sprawl, which lacks character just as everywhere else in the US.
Beer: The Sugar Maple in the Bayview neighborhood about 10-15 minutes south of downtown, near the lake. Utterly amazing selection of American craft brews. Literally 100+. Another good place is Cafe Hollander, which has some Belgians. It's about 10 mins north of downtown, near UW Milwaukee. It also serves food, which Sugar Maple doesn't. Cafe Centraal is owned by the same guy who owns Hollander, and is right next door to Sugar Maple. You'll find all these places easily with Google or the map function on an iPhone.
Music: there's a venue called The Raven that gets all kinds of acts. There's also the Pabst Theatre, which has attracted some semi-big acts (Neko Case, etc) and is a super cool hall. Aside from that, I know there's plenty of local stuff, but I'm not up on it. In general, Milwaukee has a very cool, very old-school blue collar counterculture vibe.
Sports: this time of year, there's one show in town - the Brewers. Miller Park is a great facility, similar to Safeco field in Seattle, and tickets are generally available."
