I just heard some asshole on TV say he was the FIRST time white kids liked black music. Very disrespectful to the Temptations, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, etc., etc., etc.
MJ had some great tunes, many of which will stand the test of time.
I wonder what it would have been like if there had been 24 hour news when Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, or John Lennon died. Yuck.

Crazy. Heard he was in a coma on the way to my son's baseball game, and he was dead before it ended.
