That's IT?

I finally finished this book last night, and although I really enjoyed it, I must admit that I'm a little disappointed with the ending. I'm sorry, but I expect more than a two page wrap-up after plowing through 420-odd pages ...

Dave, your thoughts?

Okay, which book should I start with by this guy. I haven't read a novel in about 4 years, but you two blather on so much about this guy, I figure I should check him out.

Jay, I found the book a little underwhelming, but not to the extent it seems that you did. As we mentioned before, Kavalier and Clay is lightning in a bottle and probably won't be topped any time soon. Joe, both Wonder Boys and Kavalier and Clay are fantastic books start to finish, with the latter winning the Pulitzer. Mysteries of Pittsburgh is not bad, but is clearly the work of a developing novelist. In fact, it almost acts like a first draft for Wonder Boys in a lot of ways.

Definitely Kavalier & Clay, Joe.

Me, I'm waiting for that Replacements book! C'mon, November 15th ...
