The finished cut of Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me sees its Memphis premiere this evening at the 15th annual Indie Memphis Film Festival. Lurker, the missus and I will be in attendance, and I'm just the least little bit excited about it. So far, all reviews have been positive.

I see it's going to NYC next week and then... a blank calendar.
Will Nashville be shut out? Did they say anything about distribution?
I asked one of the directors, Danielle McCarthy, after the screening, and she said they're working on it. I think they're shooting for limited release in early 2013.
