Week Eight Weigh In


186.4, a one week loss of ... 1.2 pounds.

Total weight lost so far, 9 pounds.

Last week's .2 pound loss kind of freaked me out, so I'm glad to see more coming off again. I got on the scale today because I'm not sure I'm working out tomorrow.

I haven't weighed in for a week, but I'm sure I'm fatter. I'll be taking Super Bowl weekend 'off' (I'm making a chili you have to make the day before so you can skin the fat off the top...for real...) and then we'll see what next week brings.

171.8 lbs = GAIN 1.8.
Miles run = 65

Almost inconceivable to put in that much exercise and somehow fatten up, but it's tricky to control the appetite when I run.

Super Bowl Sunday = healthiest day of the year, yes?

Eric, you've convinced me to at least not start running. Sure as hell don't want to start gaining weight.

Eric, my old cross country coach used to tell us that muscle weighed more than fat, so when we were building muscle, we might actually gain weight.

Yesterday's weigh-in was 171, btw. I try to keep it between 165 and 170, so I'm close. I still have the spare tire that's driving me nuts, though.
