Wow, what an amazing cover! I'll throw Portishead's Dummy into the pot, very atmospheric and will stay on your mind.
I've been sicker than a dead baby joke. That bronchitis went into pneumonia, not sure if I mentioned that. Finally regaining some human characteristics now. Been waiting on one of you to rub my head and say, "poor little bunny."
apparently they soundchecked this song before several shows on this most recent tour, but it never made it into the setlist. portishead's new album is pretty good. it's no "dummy" ... get it?
Joe's wife, a long-time fan, HATES the new Portishead. I read somewhere that they were trying to sound both like and unlike themselves with the new one. I think they succeeded.
