The Only Reason To Watch The 2007 Grammys

Don't know if y'all caught the Grammys, but the Police performed publicly for the first time in a long while. They sounded amazing, but Sting had to work in that annoying vocal tic of his that I assume is supposed to make him sound soulful:

"I won't share, I won't share, I won't share, I won't share, I won't share you with another boy ..."

I did hear a rumor that the background vocals were canned, so that sucks.

I watched a few minutes of the grammys, and was confused as to what year it was. Lionel Ritchie? A tribute to the Eagles?

It's great to see the Police back together, but I just can't get excited about Sting anymore after seeing him in concert a few years ago in Dubai. It was by far the most boring show I've ever seen - and remember that I saw the Subteens several times.

Ha! I saw Sting at JazzFest and it was great, but of course a lot of that had to do with the situation and the venue. I thought the Police sounded great, but I'm pretty sure those backing vox were canned. I heard two or three vocals, but Stuart seemed to just be mouthing and Andy can't possible sound like two young girls at once. Not much energy, but at least they didn't play Every Breath You Take. Good song, but after P Diddy's version, how could the Police compare????
