I put up new ones by Neko Case, "Fox Confessor Brings the Flood," and James Hand, "The Truth Will Set You Free."You of course know Neko from the New Pornographers. She's playing here tomorrow night. My jury is still out on the album. It's got members of Calexico, along with Howie Gelb, and Garth Hudson, so that should tell you a bit about how it sounds.
The other is James Hand, who might be
mistaken for a Hank impersonator. I've seen him a couple of times around Austin, and he's really good. The album is obviously country as hell, but it's old school stuff. Old old school.Enjoy. Or don't. I don't care.

First of all, where in the *&^% did you get that pic of Neko? Yee-ha chainsaw.
We saw Neko live last Thursday at Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill. The show was great- she played every song off of Fox Confessor except the last one. She is truly a gifted, gifted artist. Her voice was amazing live as well.

She was goooooooooood. This was evidently the last show of the tour, so they played for a long time. She does have a great voice. Purty too.
I'd like to see her play those songs from the album with Calexico.
