Actually fellas, the band guys are great, the songs are fun, fairly low pressure, free practice space....and yet I think of every live show opportunity as a pain in the ass and I don't want to do it. Time for me to follow in Jay's retirement footsteps! Only sexier! I'll always do my acoustic thang and hopefully continue to record, but I think my days of being in a collective unit where other people's feelings, opinions, and desires matter are over.

Having kids just forced my hand a little sooner, but the pain in the ass part of being in a band hits everybody eventually. Unless it's all they can do or they're making a living at it. Get off my lawn!
