Hell yeah! Can't wait.

It seems like it's been forever. I'm definitely in.

Darabont isn't involved this year, so I can't say I'm not a little a nervous. I read that they're splitting the season like the last season of Sopranos. Half in the fall, half in the spring ...

I'm going to neglect it like I did Season 1, then about five years from now get really into it and watch all the seasons consecutively. Then I'll want to talk obsessively about it with someone.

Seriously, that's kind of how I roll. I just finished the entire run of The Sopranos. Somebody talk to me about why my interest flagged about the same time they killed off Adriana...

Wait, they killed of Adriana!? That's it- now I'll never get around to the Sopranos. I'm a solid 'Game of Thrones' obsessive myself. I loved the HBO series and now I'm ass-deep into book 4.

Can't help you there Dave, but I think my next thing-I-missed-the -first-time-around obsession will be Breaking Bad. Netflix is streaming the first three seasons ...

I watched The Sopranos back when it was still a year between seasons, so my interest never flagged, but I'm curious, Eric. Why did you lose interest?

I'll probably watch the first couple of episodes, then decide it's on too late for a Sunday and get behind so I have to ask Jay what happened the next morning.

yeah, was devouring episodes 1-2 per day and the whack-a-mole hits on the male characters were like emotional speed bumps compared to the "whoa!" I experienced when they took out Adriana. Felt like she and Carmela were the emotional glue, I guess, so it was weird having the last half-season or whatever without her. I still watched it pretty intently anyway.

I've never seen an entire episode of The Wire or Six Feet Under. Currently ripping through Extras. Next up: possibly The Prisoner.

We recently watched Spartacus: Blood and Bush (which was our pet name for it). Ridiculously entertaining. A real shame the star passed away.

I almost fell off the couch when Adriana went to that big nail salon in the sky. Like you, I thought she was safe, but I guess that was the point.

Six Feet Under started strong, had a good run and then kinda petered out ... I won't mention any plot points (in case you or someone else decides to watch), but there were some red flags.

We got really into Deadwood too, back in the day.
