Yup

I think I've Found The Passion for new music that I've been missing the last few months.

Really? That single didn't have me jumping up and down. I'll see what the album sounds like.

Looking forward to it, thanks!

These guys remind me of somebody, but I can't put my finger on it. I don't think the single is the best song an the album either, but it's growing on me.

I found it pretty intriguing, but not without some annoyances, like the bass blast at the end of track 6 that rattled all the fine plasticwear in my cabinets. And the shared singing duties on every blessed track. But I loved the minimalist approach with the instruments, the silences that somehow don't break the rhythm. It felt very deconstructed, they didn't start with a pattern, but with a blank page and thought carefully before adding each element. I prefer the woman's voice and at times it makes me think of Portishead.

Yeah, deconstructed is a good way to describe their sound. A (slightly) happier Portishead, maybe?

I just can't get over the fact that:

A) These guys are all 20.

and

B) This is a debut album.

20? God, that is phenomenal talent.

I just changed my mind. I hate them.

Yeah, it's a grower.

Thanks Andrew! It is a grower, alright. Anyone else think Track 2 sounds a bit the annoying song from Juno if it had been done by New Order?

Sadly, I did not see Juno. But I'll take your word for it.
