Summer Plans Roundup

Where's everyone off to this summer? We'll be making our usual stops in Spokane and New York, with a jaunt to Vancouver, BC in between. After that, I'll just be sitting around waiting for Jay to come to North Carolina to record with me.

Hope you can stop by on your way up to New York, Dave. I highly recommend a restaurant in Vancouver called the Raincity Grill (in the West End). Quite pricy for a sit down dinner, although well worth it, but in a stroke of genius they have a take out window with $10 fish and chips! I had a bite of the fried fish with my dinner and it was terrific.

We are continuing our "get long flights out of the way before A2 can walk and throw tantrums" tour with a few days in Barcelona, and a week with the whole family on a campsite on the Costa Brava. Can't wait.

I love Barcelona. Enjoy. And we'll definitely be up this summer to see all of you.

I am tentatively heading to Van late summer, but the rest will probably be spent in lovely Gainesville, Fla, with several trips around the great State.

I'll probably hit Orange Beach, AL sometime this summer, but nothing definite at this point. Andrew, excellent plan getting some trips in while A2 is still categorized as a carry-on.

By the way, Dave, I've never seen that picture of you and Jay before.

We're off to Water Color in about three weeks. NOT looking forward to the drive, which we're splitting up over two days, but the trip should be a blast.

Where (or what) is Water Color?

It's about 2 hrs south of Memphis. Jay, Soozan and the kids are going to try and knock out the first hour on Friday, then get up early and power down the second hour on Saturday. Jay will be pretty traumatized by actually having left Memphis and will book a flight home on Sunday, leaving S and the kids to make the drive back by themselves.

Tee hee, motherfucker. Tee hee.

I got it wrong, Dave, which I seem to do a lot these days. We're actually going here.
