Glad to report that this year's egg nog did not turn me into a Christmas creep. One party-goer brought the Puerto Rican version which had a delicious coconut flavor.
I can relate. I enjoy the spirit of the season but I'm not looking forward to shopping for the kids. Oh, the things we do for love.
Though it has never put a scrap of gold or silver in my pocket, I believe that it has done me good, and will do me good; and I say, God bless it!
The Puerto Rican version is called Coquito. I have a delicious recipe for it if anyone wants it!
I'm guessing Dave does ...
