Sonic Youth have canceled their October 4th performance at this year’s Austin City Limits festival because guitarist Lee Ranaldo is out of action with a fractured wrist.I've never seen them and was very excited to have the opportunity. The Beastie Boys have also cancelled.

That totally blows. I was anxious to see the televised version of this. I saw them once live, at the Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans, and they were fantastic.
