Volcanic Green Energy

Geothermists are going to pour 24 million gallons of water into the side of a dormant volcano in Oregon this summer in possibly the awesomest green energy move we've ever seen.

"They hope the water comes back to the surface fast enough and hot enough to create cheap, clean electricity that isn’t dependent on sunny skies or stiff breezes — without shaking the earth and rattling the nerves of nearby residents." Story here.

I'm no scientician, but I'm sure the idea was inspired by that Brady Bunch volcano science project episode...

Peter Brady was always ahead of his time. I never noticed the sexual under(over?)tones in that scene.

Hot! The first bit about the mountain, that is.

I guess if they're not going to invest in improving online porn, they might as well use it to create alternative energy sources.
