BUT THEN I saw them do the entire album indie-opera style at the Ryman Theater and it fucking rocked my 'nads! They cranked up to heavy mojo with five separate drummers pounding out "The Rake's Song". Yaaaaar!

I agree, much better. They write songs about things it would never occur to anyone else to write songs about.

I will say that this one feels lighter on its feet and more accessible than what I remember of Hazards, but then, who the hell am I?
