Dysfunction Junction

Word on the street (okay, on the Interwebs) is that Ryan Adams has contributed to the latest Weezer effort. Evidently Mr. Mandy Moore played some lead and did some writing with Rivers Cuomo. Should be interesting. No doubt Andy will buy it the first day.

Más aqui.

UPDATE: You can't make this shit up.
Ryan Adams has revealed that he has written 11 new songs inspired by his recent trip to Ronnie James Dio's funeral.

The singer-songwriter, who recently released "his first fully-realised sci-fi metal concept album" in the form of 'Orion', took to his Facebook page to announce the news.

"11 new solo tunes came out of nowhere," Adams said. "Day after Dio's funeral they just fell out. Soft mellow acoustic jams - lots of New Orleans scenery and vibe from the trip."

He added: "I am official[ly] very excited again."

Maybe now Weezer will get back to making good albums again. Hell, I'd be happy with decent.

By the way, the 'Orion' vinyl only issue has sold out its run. Collect that, motherfucker!
