I could be ironic about my admiration for Ronnie James Dio, but I'd be full of shit. He was a great singer and was 100% committed to heavy metal. A huge influence on my early days of rock and roll.
Anybody see that heavy metal documentary that VH1 Classic was airing every 15 minutes awhile back? Dio says that Gene Simmons takes credit for the devil horns, but that he also takes credit for inventing air and shoes. Pretty funny.

Yeah, I was never a metal fan, but he was the real deal. And he invented the devil horns hand sign, so he deserves credit for that if nothing else.
