First Time Post in a series of Nick Lowe offerings. Is there a better songwriter in the history of rock and pop? I've offered a variety of albums from Nick's storied career. I think you'll find all of it awesome.
Funny story how I got all this. Back in the "day" before mp3s were common, my friend Rob was approached to be on a Nick Lowe tribute album. The record company sent him two CDs that contained all of Nick's albums as mp3s up through Dig My Mood. Rob gave them to me, so I have every NL album up through about 2003 on two great discs. I'll upload everything over the next month or so. Enjoy! It has been a real education for me.
I LOVE Nick Lowe. Looking forward to the 'Cowboy Outfit' album and the country ones he did just before the turn of the century. And not to be cliche'd, but if 'Cruel To Be Kind' was the last song I ever got to hear, I would be okay with it.
