I Did It, and You Can't Stop Me

I have created a 'My Space' music page! http://www.myspace.com/popheaddave

Figured I may as well have a way to share tunes with family and friends. I'm still working on it right now. Jay, I'm curious to know which Pophead numbers featuring you and Sean I should add. Two cents, or even three, please.

Its pretty cool connecting with lots of musician friends all over like this, and an easy way to share music with each other.

Awesome, Dave. Wow, John Wesley Harding is one of your friends. Hey, can I put in a cent and vote for 'Bad Hair Day' as one of the Pophead songs to be included. Hell, I should've had that on my top 15 list.

You can, and I will add it on there next week. May the LORD bless you. Eternally. Forever.

OK, Joe, I took your advice. Bad Hair Day is officially added. Giver 'er a listen or a download, although the sound is pretty horrendous. If you want the best copy I can make, let me know and I'll burn you a Pophead CD.

Great, Dave. I remember hearing that song for the first time in that little warehouse rehearsal space on Union(?). I just thought it was great right off the bat. I was also there when ya'll recorded it.

Hey, whatever happened to that guy Jay who played bass on the song and used to contribute to this blog every now and again? He's probably moved to the suburbs and taken up golf or something. Poor bastard.

And Denzil is on your friends list now! "We made a baby from a bottle of rum..."

Joe, I actually got a couple of personal emails from Denzil when I added him as a friend. He listened to my stuff and complimented the lyrics. I can die now. Like Jay must have. My theory is that I told Jay I was coming to Memphis in a couple of weeks, and he started hiding already.

I put my vote in for Tricky, mostly because it was such a motherfucker to learn (but also because it's a damn fine tune).

Oh, and Right Where She Belongs, of course.
