We were just lamenting how we still miss George Carlin, and now another voice who was noted for 'telling it like it is' is gone. Gil Scott Heron, dead at 62. Do yourself a favor and give eight minutes of your life to listen to this.
Man, this one hurts. His albums with Brian Jackson were so fucking great. I have them on vinyl, but I'll see if I can dig up a copy of 'Bridges' or 'It's Your World.' He had kind of a resurgence in the last couple of years since getting out of jail. Shit.
