The Young Americans Who Sold the World

Fleecing The Public- that's what some of Bowie's critics in the 70s claimed he was doing. With his chameleon-like identity changes, musical reinventions, and sexually ambiguous behavior, some looked at him as nothing more than showbiz huckster. I think the music speaks for itself. Anyone have 'Heroes' or 'Lodger'?

That's a Go Fish on your question, Dave.

I watched the Scott Walker documentary that Bowie produced yesterday. I watched it yesterday. I don't know when he produced it. Anyway, you can really see where Bowie got some of his vocal stylings from.

I'm confused. When did you watch it? Did Bowie produce it yesterday? That's quick turn around. Sorry I'm kind of slow. Must have something to do with it being 4/20 or something....

Oh, Bowie totally ripped Scott Walker off, especially his style on the slower, crooning tunes.
