NO-lier than thou

So . . . gumbo and bbq shrimp at Liuzzas by the Track; crawfish and fixin's from Big Fisherman; Abita Amber; 12-hour roast beef from Boucherie; Rue; Little Freddie King, Society Brass Band, Bucktown Allstars, Sunpie and the Louisiana Sunspots, and Trombone Shorty; A2's first fried shrimp, crawfish, and snowballs; and, for the road, Domilises' large fried shrimp, dressed. Mmmmmmmmm. Oh, and un-humid high-'70's all weekend.

I'm printing this list out next time I go to NOLA. I have a knack for finding the shittiest restaurants.

Oh man that is awesome. I also hit Boucherie and Liuzza's by the Track during my recent visit.

Alas I did not make it out to Boucherie proper (of Cochon Butcher, other than to pop in to buy some mustard) given my wife's "issues" with decaying flesh. Thank goodness they were one of the vendors at the FQ Fest. (I forgot to include in my list my Conchon de lait sandwich the next day -- that was awesome too.) Food (and beer) options much better than Jazz Fest in my view.
