Already in Spokane for rock and roll hoopla. Also renting a cabin in Gatlinburg area for a couple of days, NY, and maybe a quick trip to the beach. Oh yeah, I'm a teacher. Poor, but freewheelin'! Suck it!

I personally have a trip to Salt Lake planned in late August (Conference), some time in NC, and as much time on the lovely Florida beaches as I can get in.
Going to Lanesboro, MN for a wedding, probably Gatlinburg for a weekend, out to Spokane/northern Idaho for a little vacation, and then Austin in early September.
I've been so deeply entrained by the academic calendar that I always feel like I should be on vacation all summer.
