Remember This?

I heard this on some French station I found on iTunes last week and it's been stuck in my head ever since. You live with it for awhile ...

  1. I've had this in my iTunes for a couple of years and am always pleased when it pops up on the shuffle. What a crap song that is recorded, arranged and performed lovingly. Makes me miss AM radio a whole bunch too.

  2. I would have to say 'No, I don't remember this.' I can honestly say I've never heard this song.

  3. It's from about 1979, during your ten year medically-induced coma, Joe.

Gotta say I love the production. The singer, Charlie Dore, has apparently had a long and storied career in the UK; in fact, Mojo Magazine just recruited her to help re-record Abbey Road for their current issue.

Just one more pop-culture artifact to throw on the pile of things from my childhood that I had COMPLETELY forgotten about ...

  4. I never heard this either. And I have to say, it would take nostalgia to turn it into anything notable. A freakin' lot of nostalgia.

  5. Haters. Next you'll be knocking 'I've Never Been to Me'. If you want some cheestastic lyrics, look that one up.

  6. That was a bit harsh, wasn't it. I've never been to me, now there's a memory!

  7. I'll post the most vomit-inducing song from the seventies by the end of the day. Stay tuned, bitches!
