My son broke his arm a little while ago, playing superhero at school. His teacher told me that she watched in disbelief as he jumped from the top of the slide.
He cracked both his ulna and radius at the wrist (left arm). He's in a brace 'til Monday and then he gets a cast. He's taking Motrin and is actually in good spirits. Kids are tough that way ...
No! Damn Jay- let us know how the little guy is. I've got a picture of he and his sister about three feet away from me and I'm sending good thoughts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Jay. I'm sure he'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Ian's arm! Have to get him using nongravity-defying powers.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys.

But what are YOU taking? I know you're not the type to worry, but.....
ReplyDeleteSeems to be an epidemic. My sister just called and my 13 year old niece broke her upper arm bone just below the shoulder yesterday!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your niece, Dave. Upper arm, that's sounds really rough.
ReplyDeleteShit! Enough with the broken bones already.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it, Dave. Tell your sister that I prescribe Motrin for your niece and a vodka & tonic for her. Both are miracle workers.
