You mean insensitive because of the Va tech thing?
I think we just have to carry on, Jaime. If we refuse to post violent Korean anime because of yesterday's tragic events, then Cho Seung-hui has truly won.
Sorry, Jay, I didn't put that together. I hadn't heard the guy was Korean when I hazed you earlier.
My wife has a ton of S.Korean students, and there are a lot at UT as well. When I taught ESL here, the majority of my students were from there. They were great kids and I hope this doesn't impact them. What a terrible thing.
I wish I 'got' anime. All the cool people (Joe, Lurker Mike) like it. I don't know why animation beyond Fat Albert, Scooby Doo, Heavy Metal, and the Simpsons never did anything for me.
If you guys think this is insensitive or in bad taste, I'll remove it. That didn't even occur to me until just now ...
ReplyDeleteYou are insensitive and in bad taste. The clip is fine.

ReplyDeleteI found it on a Canadian blog devoted to illustration and cartooning. It's called Drawn! (Yes, with an exclamation point.) Canadians ...
