And So It Begins ...

Video-sharing service YouTube has wiped nearly 30,000 files from its website after Japanese media companies said their copyright was being infringed.

  2. I hate to say it, but I think Google inadvertently fucked YouTube when they bought 'em. You can't buy a company for that much money without alerting the sharks ...

  3. Hopefully (for Google) they included indemnities in the paperwork against lawsuits stemming from prior acts. Or something like that.
